Despite filing for divorce three years ago, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt‘s separation has been a messy one, with the couple finally announced to be single this year after choosing to ‘bifurcate’ their marriage.
The couple will now both have a ‘single’ status while continuing with divorce proceedings, rather than remain to be legally bound as they have been these past three years.
Brad and Angelina reportedly set a co-parenting schedule this summer, enabling their children to spend their holiday across two cities, New Mexico where Ange was filming her new movie and LA where Brad lives.
But it wasn’t the 50-50 custody that the two are reportedly working to have that has apparently prolonged divorce proceedings, instead it was their castle.
Yes, this is not a drill.
Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt co-own a French castle and can’t decide what to do with it amid their divorce.
The castle in question is Chateau Miraval, the couple’s French winery which they bought in 2011. This is of course where the couple co-produce their infamous Miraval Rose wine, now renamed Studio Miraval.
According to The Blast, their beloved chateau is the estate causing difficulties, with the couple still trying to work out how to best divide it.
Is anyone else feeling nostalgic?
